I took another Udemy drawing class, this one is called The Complete Drawing Masterclass: From Beginner to Advanced.
The instructor is Jonathan Simon, MFA
I got many useful things out of it, most of all, it was interesting to see a professional artist work on pieces without a tremendous amount of video editing.
Seeing the different ways he held the drawing instrument, whether a pencil or piece of vine charcoal was influential and I feel more confident when I put my pencil to paper. It’s like I’ve developed some long neglected muscle in my hand.
I really like working with conte pencils, this was new to me.
And gesture drawing… FUN! (I’d like to get good at this)
